The Landmark cluster
Landmark Beach on VI is the polished scene — Shiro Beach Bar, Cocoons and Hard Rock share the strip. Entry to Landmark Village is $8, and the beach clubs charge $10 to $20 cover on top on weekends. Shiro is the safe bet: DJ from 3pm, decent Asian-fusion food, cocktails at $10. Skip Hard Rock unless nostalgia is the point. Book a table for Sunday brunch and prepare for it to blur into sunset.
Elegushi and Eleko
Elegushi (Ikate) is the loud, cheap, Lagos-authentic version — $8 entry, grilled fish for $10, and the Kuramo Beach Bar sound system that shakes your ribs. Eleko Beach further east is quieter and cleaner, best for daytime. La Campagne Tropicana runs its own private beach club feel at $30 a day pass with lunch. If you can only do one, do Landmark on a Saturday and Elegushi on a Sunday afternoon — you’ll see both Lagoses.

Dress code?
Beach smart. Shirts required at Shiro after 8pm. Trainers fine everywhere except Vellvett across the road.
Can I swim?
Yes at Elegushi and Eleko with lifeguards. Landmark's swim area is small and often too rough — most people don’t.
