Eko Hotel Main Building sits at the Victoria Island end near Bar Beach and runs larger and more corporate, better suited to a group of six or more than a couple wanting quiet.

None of these four are technically inside Lekki itself; the genuine luxury cluster sits in Ikoyi and Victoria Island, a 15 to 30 minute drive from Lekki Phase 1 depending on traffic on the Falomo Bridge. Booking two nights in Ikoyi and treating Lekki as a series of day trips, as this itinerary does, gets you better breakfast, better wifi and a shorter airport run than staying inside Lekki proper. Book directly with the hotel or a major booking platform at least two weeks out for weekend arrivals, since all four fill with business travellers midweek and wedding parties on Saturdays.

Getting around without stress

Shopping, markets and one stop to reconsider

The Lekki Arts and Crafts Market, often called the Ropes Market, sits on Lekki-Epe Expressway near Phase 1 and is the honest place to buy carvings, beadwork and fabric before flying home; expect to pay half the first quoted price after bargaining, and budget $20 to $60 depending on the piece. It runs daily except Sunday, roughly 9am to 6pm, and a driver wait of 30 minutes is enough for most visitors. Circle Mall on Kusenla Road in Lekki Phase 1 is a fine air-conditioned stop for a coffee or a pharmacy run between other plans, though it is a mall like any other and not worth building a day around.

Lekki Conservation Centre, with its canopy walkway strung between the trees, is a genuine attraction and worth the roughly $5 entry fee if you go on a weekday morning near its 8am opening, before school groups and Instagram crowds arrive on weekend afternoons. On a Saturday it turns into a queue for the walkway and loses most of its appeal, so if your three days land on a weekend, skip it in favour of the itinerary above rather than forcing it in. A weekday visitor with a spare two hours between the spa and dinner, however, will find it a genuinely calmer stop than another round of restaurants.
